Karyn grew up in the Clare Valley where her love of musicals (and all things musical) developed. While in high school she played for Pippin, Oliver and Annie, before moving to Adelaide to complete her Bachelor of Music and Associate Diploma of Music Performance. Since moving to the Riverland she has taught piano and singing through her music school Music Alive and served the Riverland Musical Society as Musical Director for 16 years. She has been involved with every Little Town apart from the very first year, acting as Musical Director since 2007. Karyn is also the owner of Music Alive School of Music in Loxton, nurturing many local students in their musical journey.
